Below is an outline of your first 6 months with Remodel Buddy. It shouldn't come a surprise (since we are a business all about building effective systems!) that we have a very systematic approach to delivering our coaching services to you. We systematically work through our coaching program. One practical and proven step builds on the next.

We work with a select number of Remodelers and no  more than one in any metro area. We will want to interview you to ensure we are a good fit. To find out if your area is available, Please contact us.

MONTH 1

Laying The Foundation...

New Member Orientation

Within the 1st Week of Joining we will conduct our New Member Orientation

We will complete a Current Business Snapshot and will come out of this meeting with a solid understanding of your Remodeling business. This Orientation helps us to customize your Membership to fit your business and priorities.

During this session we will also provide training on how your Member’s Only Basecamp Account works and how we use it to communicate. Basecamp is the private login area for your company, and a total online collaboration tool for viewing and tracking files,e-mails, reports etc. (Members love Basecamp – it keeps us organized...you’ll love it too.)

Session 1 – Duct Tape Marketing Catalyst

A week after the New Member Orientation we progress to:

  • Target Market – Determining Who Is your Ideal Target Client-Finding and focusing on a market that values what you have to offer is an essential marketing step. Defining this ideal client and finding more just like them is the purpose of this lesson.
  • Differentiate and Dominate – Developing and Communicating your Core Marketing Message-Most prospects view one business like another. All Remodelers do the same thing, all home improvement co's do the same thing. When this perception exists you are left to compete on price. One of the most important marketing strategies the small business must master is the art of differentiation. Finding an important point of difference, one that matters to your ideal clients is the major focus of this lesson

A key component of “Differentiate & Dominate” are Client Survey’s. We will complete 4 Client Surveys on your behalf with complete Audio recording and notes.

1-on-1 Coaching Session

During The Month we will also engage in our 1-on-1 Coaching Session –  We will review Homework from Session 1 and Client Survey Findings. As well as discuss additional priorities.

MONTH 2

Package Your Business & Marketing Materials That Educate

Session 2 – Duct Tape Marketing Catalyst

Day 1-7 we will deliver: Package Your Business & Give Them an Image – One of the elements that contributes greatly to the success of your business is the experience that your clients and prospects have with you. A great deal of this experience can be found in the image that your business projects in its marketing. This image and how you present your Business, products, processes and services can be the key to delivering your core unique difference and making your business the obvious choice in your industry. Building a Business that Runs Itself

Financials & Business ProForma - 1-on-1 Meeting to Discuss strategy for the necessary elements, to create an accurate Financial Statement, refine your Marketing plan, Business plan, Pro-Froma that work in conjunction with your businesses Financials. Now that we have a marketing system, it is time to develop the business systems. We will prepare your business road map & get organized for our MasterBuilder Peer groups or for continued progress on your own. Also, Catalyst Review & Progress coaching. Review what’s in-progress and what still needs to be implemented. – Extended Meeting

MONTH 6 & BEYOND:

Once you have completed the Marketing Catalyst Program, we have several “Next Steps” that we will consider.

The 1-on-1 Monthly Coaching Session will continue. As well as the Unlimited Email Support

Additional “Next Steps” may include:
  • Participation in MasterBuilder - Roundtable Groups
  • More in-depth coaching on your Sales Process.
  • In depth strategy to implement using your Marketing plan
  • Marketing and/or Sales Training for your Staff.
  • How to build a Sales team & commission structure
  • Coaching on Internal Systems – Customer Relationship Management (CRM),billing, estimating,etc.
  • Open Book Management & using the financial statement to build a goal orientated team
  • Coaching on Job Costing, Focus on Profitability and Financial statements.
