Remodel Buddy Marketing strategy“Without sales you can just throw away the key.” Sales is the cure-all for everything. It is too… Less worrying, more cash flow, easier to obtain goals….money. Can we all handle more sales? Usually the answer is YES. Selling. What we need to understand when we are selling is that we can’t sell anything to anybody. We just need to be there when they are ready to buy. So when they are in pain and have the money to buy to get out of that pain, they will buy from you. And that is what marketing really is. It is saying I am here and I am here and I am here. There are two big factors when we are talking about marketing. One is luck and the other is timing. So without a constant effort and a steady and consistent plan, a system…….you can throw out timing. If you throw out timing, what is left_________________?LUCK, but you can’t rely on it. We mentioned “when they are in pain” pain = Need” Having a purpose , a service, product that helps solve someone’s needs and problems “thats why someone will chose you, to help serve their needs. Who has that need, who is your client? Why would I choose you? Well, you have to find them, locate them or better yet they find you. This is where I believe companies really make a turning point, is when they seek you and your business can get to this point, you truly can. Marketing is your ultimate leverage How about this. Emotion is the fast lane to the brain. Your clients buy on emotion! Ever heard the saying that” the way to a mans heart is through his_______? Why? Emotion! Well, people buy from emotion, learn best through emotion and stories are the best way to accomplish that. When you are talking to your customers think “emotion” it is about learning and engagement and emotion. Marketing is the ultimate leverage. Its worth repeating…… Marketing ,#1 people buy from emotion, #2 marketing is about timing…. and marketing is the ultimate leverage in getting across your story. We all are in marketing, you have to believe that. If your not in marketing, you won’t be in business long. I guarantee that! The biggest reasons businesses fail ? Do you know why? Do you know why? Lack of marketing, lack of sales, lack of sales, lack of cash, lack of cash…… no business. Its my emotion, feeling that if people listen to what Duct Tape Marketing’s principals are, that they will understand that building a business in today’s economy is about being unique, using todays technology to communicate to customer and clients. It is not about that direct mail piece or new ad. That’s what so many small business owners want to do, get caught up in the advertising event of the day, week or month. That’s great for a day, ……….gets expensive………. Today consumers are taking more time to make their buying decision. A big businesses with a millions of dollars in a advertising budget, can buy advertising campaigns. And they are paying the price, a lot of them. With the higher corporate overhead, rising costs of advertisement and diminishing return……it isn’t their time to flourish. Yellow pages go up in cost almost every year, do the results go up each year? No! Media prices go up, does that mean the results get better because the advertising costs did, no! It is small businesses time. Small businesses that take the time to develop a system. What’s the first things big businesses cut when times are difficult? Customer service and advertising. Is that a formula for success? No! Small Businesses that know how to effectively market will show them how to succeed.
